If you decide to sign on, the coaching relationship begins by identifying your dreams and desires: the changes you want to make and the passions you want to pursue. We’ll discover and clarify what your best life is, then create goals and action plans to make it happen. Our coaching relationship will provide a consistent, affirming support structure that will keep you focused and on track. Along the way we’ll find plenty of chances to brainstorm, troubleshoot the obstacles and celebrate your wins. We’ll build an authentic, energizing friendship where we can laugh together, share deeply, and converse with passion about the future.
In a typical coaching relationship, we meet once every week and talk over as and when required. Our initial intake session will be 60-90 minutes as we get to know each other better and design the details of the relationship based on your objectives and needs.
For this initial “intake” session you’ll have some pre-work: a life satisfaction survey, some questions to consider and instructions to read. After that, you’ll choose the action steps you want to take each week.
Depending on the client, We ask for a 12, 6 or 3 month commitment up front (it takes a little time to get life-changing results!) and we’ll go month-to-month after that. We’ll send you an agreement that includes these details so we have everything in writing.
The Coaching Process
Coaching is based on the belief that the client already has the answers within themselves and that the work of the coach is to support the client to connect to their inner wisdom and to express it authentically, both verbally and with their actions. We already have our seeds buried deep within us and just need to bring them to life fully. Throughout the process we are be at your side, intuitively knowing when to readily seed, compassionately weed, gently water and inspire and allowing growth to happen with ease and grace until you stand in full blossom.
We already have the answers to all problems but that knowledge however is often not in your conscious mind. Through appropriate techniques you can definitely access it.
We play the role of a completely non-judgmental facilitator helping you find your best solution. The process involves you answering some very deliberate and powerful questions. Through these questions, We will help you challenge both your own thinking and your perceived limitations. We also teach you some simple techniques to access your intuition and deeper knowledge of yourself.
During each session, we will identify an area you would like to focus on. Once we’ve established that, We facilitate you through the following process by asking appropriate questions and allowing you sufficient space to answer them. You have full control of the process and you can rely on me to challenge you to uncover and explore additional possibilities. Below is a brief description of what happens at each stage:
Stage 1Clarifying what you want:
What is your vision? We explore your potential and create a clear picture of your purpose and preferred future, be it in the personal or professional realm or both. Appreciating constraints and things outside your control and Understanding why it is important to you.
Stage 2Defining the steps you need to take:
We determine some concrete milestones that you want to achieve in support of your calling. Create an action plan that is realistic and practical. The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step – we determine what is that step?
Stage 3Building and maintaining the commitment:
We Create openings for Change and build your awareness of who you are today, your behavior patterns and belief systems as well as your physical presence. We then discover how your moods, emotions, thoughts, and actions, both taken and not taken, are holding you back from reaching your goals. We Develop a vision and help you appreciate its importance. Also we link the various steps you need to take to that vision.
Stage 4Measuring your progress:
We establish practices that connect you to your heart’s wisdom and help you build a larger container within yourself to hold moods, emotions, thoughts, and actions that are aligned with your goals. We Define the milestones to help you check you’re on track.
